Ingredients:
• 2 cups – Cabbage (chopped )
• 1 cup – peas
• 2 cups – Rice
• 1 – Onion (chopped)
• 2 – Tomatoes (chopped)
• 2 tsp – Green chillies (chopped)
• 1 tsp – Ginger (grated)
• 1 – Cinnamon stick
• 1/2 tsp – Asafoetida
• 2 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 1 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp – paprika
• Salt to taste
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala
• 2 tbsp – Olive oil
Method:
- Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add asafoetida, cinnamon stick and cumin seeds.
- Wait for popping and add ginger and onions.
- Fry onions till golden and add all spices and salt, peas, tomatoes and green chilli.
- Saute for 2 minutes and add cabbage in last, close lid and cook for 1 whistle.
- Serve hot with pickle, chutney or curd.
