
Ingredients:
• 2 cups – raw Rice
• 1/4 cup – grated Coconut
• 1 tbsp – Red Chilli powder
• 4 cups – shredded Pumpkin
• 1 – Onion
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seeds (optional)
• 1 tsp – Cumin seeds (optional)
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Soak the rice for about 4 hours.
- Grind it to a smooth paste along with coconut, chilli powder and shredded pumpkin.
- Add salt. Keep it covered for about 5 to 6 hrs or over night.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Season with mustard and cumin seeds.
- Add finely chopped onion and saute for a few minutes till the onion becomes translucent.
- Add this to the dosa batter.
- Heat a dosa tawa, smear with oil and make dosas.
- Serve hot with the chutney or sambar of your choice.
