
Ingredients:
• 1 -small Pumpkin
• 1/2 tbsp -chana dal
• 1/2 tbsp- moong dal
• 1/2 tbsp- cumin seeds(jeera)
• 1 tbsp -mustard
Method:
- Peel the pumpkin and cut into small pieces.
- Boil the pieces for 5 min.
- Cut the chillies into fine pieces.
- Heat the pan and put the oil.
- In the heated oil, put chana dal, moong dal, cumin seeds, mustard and green chillies.
- Fry for 1 min.
- Add curry leaves and fry for 1 min.
- Put asafoetida powder and fry for 1 min.
- Now add pumpkin pieces and fry for 10 min(or pieces become tender).
- Add salt and jaggery and fry for 5 min.
- Serve it hot with rice or roti.
