Ingredients:

• Rava – 1 cup
• Green chillies – 3
• Coriander – 3 sprigs
• Mustard -1/4 tsp
• Cumin – 1/4 tsp
• Channa dal – 1 tsp
• Curd – 1 cup
• Oil – 2 tbsp
• Eno Lemon fruit salt 1/4 – tsp
• Baking powder – a pinch
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds, jeera and channa dal.
  2. To this add chillies and chopped coriander.
  3. Fry a little, add rava and fry till it is roasted. Let it cool.
  4. Then add the eno salt, baking powder and salt.
  5. Mix equal portions of the rava mixture and curd, and steam the idlis immediately
