Ingredients:
• 1/4 kg- basmati Rice
• 1/2 – Coconut
• 4 – dry Red Chillies
• 1 tbsp – Bengal Gram dal
• 1 tbsp – black gram dal
• 1 tbsp – mustard
• 3-4 – Green chillies
• 2 Sprigs – Curry leaves
• Coriander leaves
• Salt to taste
• Oil for frying
• 1/2 tbsp – Turmeric
Method:
- Boil the rice.
- Grate the coconut and keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a frying pan
- Add the dry red chillies, mustard, black gram dal, Bengal gram dal, curry leaves and turmeric.
- When the mustard crackles, add the coconut and fry it until it turns brown
- After the coconut turns light brown, add the boiled rice and fry it for two to 3 minutes.
- Lastly, add the coriander leaves with the rice and serve hot
