
Ingredients:
• Moong dal – 1 cup
• Channa dal – 1/2 cup
• Mixed Vegetables – 1/2 cup (finely chopped)
• Onions – 1 medium (finely chopped)
• Green chillies – 3-4 (finely chopped)
• Ginger paste (fresh) – 1 tsp
• Curry leaves – 7-8.
• Coriander leaves – 1 tbsp (roughly chopped)
• Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
• Red Chilli powder – 1 tsp
• Coriander powder – 1 tsp
• Salt
• Oil – To deep fry.
Method:
- Wash and soak the two dals for 4-5 hours.
- Grind them coarsely.
- Add onions, chillies, vegetables, powder masala, salt and green leaves to the batter and mix them.
- Heat oil in the kadai and make small round balls. Flatten with your fingers in to a vadai shape.
- Deep-fry them on medium flame until golden brown.
- Serve hot.
