Ingredients:

• Bhindi -1/2 kg
• Potato- 2 big
• Onion -2 big
• Turmeric Powder- 1/2 tsp
• Oil to saute- 3 tsp
• Cumin seeds -1/2 tsp
• Salt to taste
• Curry Powder to taste

Method:

  1. Wash and dry bhindi. Cut bhindi 1 inch long.
  2. Cut potatoes into thin slices.
  3. Chop onions.
  4. Heat the oil in a frying pan. Add the cumin seeds. When it splutters add the onion. Fry till light brown.
  5. Add the bhindis and potato. Add turmeric powder and salt. Keep the flame low. Cover with a lid. Frequently keep stirring the bhindis.
  6. .Add the curry powder and simmer a little while.
