Ingredients:
• 1 cup – Rice (washed and soaked for 15 minutes)
• 1 cup – Corn kernels
• 1 – Onion (chopped)
• 1 – Tomato (chopped)
• 1 cup – green bell pepper (cubed)
• 1 tsp – pav bhaji masala
• 1/2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1 tsp – Butter
• Salt – to taste
• Oil – 2 tbsp
Method:
- Heat enough oil in a pan, add the onions and saute until they turn translucent.
- Add the tomatoes, cook for few more minutes.
- Now add the cubed bell peppers and corns and saute everything together.
- Add the pav bhaji masala, red chilli powder and salt to the vegetables and saute for a few seconds.
- Now add the rice, stir well, add two cups of water and cook everything on simmer until the rice gets well cooked.
- Add the butter to the cooked corn rice and serve with papads or any kind of spicy side dish.
