
Ingredients:
• 20 – Seedless Olives
• For spice powder:
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1 tsp – Fenugreek seeds
• 1/4 tsp – Asafoetida
• 3 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1 tsp – Cumin seeds
• For tempering:
• 3 tbsp – Olive oil
• 1/ cup – Vinegar
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 3 tsp – Salt
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the seedless olives for 5 minutes. Take off from the oil and keep aside.
- To make the spice powder, first splutter the mustard seeds and grind with rest of the spice powder ingredients.
- Once done, add the ground powder in oil with red chilli powder and salt while flame’s on simmer and stir continuously.
- Once the oil separates from the ground powder, add the vinegar and stir well for 20 minutes on low flame.
- Once everything is well cooked add the fried olives. Stir on low flame. Check for salt.
- Cool for an hour and store in air-tight container.
