
Ingredients:
• 2 cups – leftover saboodana khichidi
• 1/2 cup – water
• Salt to taste
• 2 pinch – soda bicarbonate.
Method:
- Boil water in a deep vessel. Add khichidi, salt, soda, stir and cook.
- When the mixture thickens take off fire.
- Spread in direct sunlight, a thick sheet of plastic and on it lay a cotton sheet. Take ladlefuls of mixture, spread into small thick circles.
- Dry in sun till brittle, flipping side when half dried.
- Store in airtight container.
- Deep fry in hot oil, when required.
- Serve.
