Ingredients:
• 3 – ripe Tomatoes
• 2 – green chillies, slit
• 1 stalk – Curry leaves
• 1/2 tbsp – coriander, chopped fine
• 1/2 tsp – Sugar
• 1/2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/8 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1/8 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1/4 tsp – cumin powder
• 1/4 tsp – coriander powder
• 4 pinch – Asafoetida
• Salt to taste
• 1/4 tsp each – cumin and Mustard Seeds
• 1 tbsp – oil.
Method:
- Chop tomatoes.
- Heat oil in a pan, splutter mustard and cumin seeds.
- Add asafoetida, curry leaves and chillies.
- Stir and add tomatoes.
- Add red chilli, turmeric, garam masala, cumin and coriander powders and salt.
- Stir gently, cover and cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Sprinkle sugar, stir and simmer for 2 mins.
- Garnish with coriander leaves before serving.
- Serve hot.
