
Ingredients:
• 1 packet – frozen puff pastry, thawed
• 1 Onion
• 1 tsp – oil
• 1/2 kg – fresh Spinach
• 150 gms – Cottage cheese
• 1/2 tsp – ground Nutmeg
• Salt and pepper
• Beaten Egg to glaze
Method:
- Roll out the pastry thinly to a rectangle 50 x 40 cm.
- Cut into small squares.
- Heat the oil in a large pan.
- Add the onion and fry until soft.
- Add the spinach and cook for 5 mins.
- Keep the spinach mixture to the processing bowl and process for 10 seconds.
- Then stir in the cheese, nutmeg, salt and pepper to taste.
- Put a tsp of filling on each pastry square.
- Brush the edges with water and fold over with triangles.
- Brush with egg and make 2 cuts in the top.
- Bake in a pre-heated oven at 220 degree C for 20 mins, until golden.
- Serve hot.
